Old Monovians Football - 1927

1927

As announced in the last number of the " Monovian," it was hoped to run four elevens this season, and I am pleased to report that this is now an accomplished fact. Thus is created a record in the history of the Club, and incidentally one of which we are all proud.

From the results to date, and the general enthusiasm of all members, we have, I think, every reason for anticipating a most successful season. The membership has greatly increased, now numbering fifty-eight, but a few more members are still required to ensure a successful fulfilment of the season's programme. The Hon. Secretary, N. C. Temple, 11, Fyfield Road, E.17, will be pleased to hear from any Old Boys desirous of joining, and tenders a hearty welcome to all.
