This year's service of remembrance, in the memorial garden at the college, was led by Revd. Nigel Anstey. The event was attended by about 50 students and staff of the college, together with about 15 old monovians.
Sadly Mrs Burt was unable to attend this year because of illness, so wreathes were taken forward by old monovians Brian Westbury and Mike Freeman.
We would like to thank the College for their hospitality, in particular Tracy and trumpeter Stephen.
We also thank Nigel for leading us today. Nigel attended Monoux between 1967 and 1972, part of the last induction of pupils aged 11yrs, prior to the change to the comprehensive system.
